Friends & Colleagues,
Welcome to another edition of The Damage Prevention Journal. Our inaugural issue exceeded expectations and we received quite a lot of positive feedback and helpful suggestions. Reader feedback is very important to us and we welcome it…so please let us know what you think.
The second edition of the Journal contemplates the enduring ideal of “We The People…” One of the most powerful doctrines ever written began with these words. Our founding Fathers clearly understood the meaning of “We The People…” They were a diverse group of personality types with distinct special interests that often divided them bitterly. However, it was their understanding of the significance of this simple phrase that compelled them to rise above special interests and serve the common interest of the country as a whole. The adage, “United we stand, divided we fall,” is as relevant today as at any other time in history. I truly believe that working together for the common good we can make the impossible possible.
In conclusion, I would once again like to thank the advertisers, staff and partners who support and produce what is quickly becoming an exceptional publication. I would like to extend a very special thank you to the O.U.P.S. Board of Trustees without whose support we could not continue our efforts to make Ohio a safer place to live and work.
